The Meaning of Wholism
line spacer image
Wholism is an integrated way of living based on observing how life in our universe operates (the big picture) and then using this knowledge in a practical way to create balance and harmony in our daily relationships (daily practice).

Wholism is about interconnected beings, living in systems, the purposeful flow of energy, the vital nature of relationships, and the balanced and harmonious use of all our personal, scientific, and spiritual resources.

In a world plagued by materialism, competitiveness, and egoism, wholism provides an antidote for inhuman behaviour and unhealthy relationships.

Wholism is neither New Age nor a new system of beliefs. It's the collective wisdom of human beings developed over millions of years who have observed the universal patterns of life and found deep meaning in them. This universal knowledge often gets lost for long periods of time and is then re-discovered whenever the world is dangerously out of balance, as it is right now. Thankfully wholism is with us again and the WCN is part of a movement to promote its principles and practices.

Wholism integrates the best that modern science and ancient spiritual practices offer. It encourages us to use our scientific mind to transform the material world and our spiritual heart to create harmonious relationships among all living beings. The Wholistic Community Network (WCN) and my work as a wholistic educator are dedicated to a global vision of balanced people living in a harmonious world. Michael Greenstein
