![]() There is a new, wholistic way of living emerging in the world today and it's arrival couldn't have come at a more critical time in our history. All forms of life on our planet are under great stress as a result of rapid technological and social changes, ongoing wars and violence, polluted environments, climate disruptions, and strained relationships between nations, religions, races, and the sexes. Our recent history has been a time of incredibly rapid growth and change. The unbalanced nature of this growth, i.e. developing the intellect at the expense of conscience and feeling and relying on science without the guidance of spiritual receiving has led us to unbalanced ways of thinking and acting. Balanced people don't start wars, pollute environments, mistreat others, etc. There is a growing change in the way millions of us are beginning to understand the meaning and purpose of our lives. This new, wholistic understanding is slowly replacing the unhealthy beliefs and approaches of the past. Many of us are now aware of the damage these three human plagues are causing and are seeking a healthier and more meaningful foundation on which to rebuild our personal and collective lives. This site is dedicated to the new wholistic paradigm or model that we believe can create that foundation. Wholism is based on the Universal laws that have existed from the dawn of time. It's a way of life that integrates the best that modern science and ancient spiritual practices offer. It encourages us to make full use of our whole being; our brain to transform the material world and create prosperity for ourselves and others, our heart to experience a spiritual connection and create harmonious relationships with all living beings. The Wholistic Community Network (WCN) and my work as a wholistic educator are dedicated to a global vision of balanced people living in a harmonious world. Michael Greenstein, the WCN's founder |
